What is Sisterlocks™ ?

This hair locking style is similar to dreadlocks, however, unlike traditional dreadlocks, Sisterlocks™ are smaller locks created by a smaller section of hair utilizing a special Sisterlocks™ tool.   

The technique is trademarked and Sisterlocks™ can only be properly installed by a certified consultant.

Each client is given a specialized consultation session, installation session and an included follow-up visit/re-tightening session.

The coil is the beginning phase of the locking process, followed by the encasement phase where the locks begin to thicken as the setting in process begins. Finally the matting phase when the locks seal.
